High-Potential Talent and Assessment

Don’t underestimate a strong and engaged team

In today’s workplace, the competition to recruit and retain talented employees is fierce but does your organisation offer clear pathways to success for your best performers and future leaders? If so, are your staff fully engaged with this or is your talent gap growing whilst you watch your best staff exit the business?

The Challenge

Research shows that post-Pandemic, the overall cost of additional staff turnover in the next 12 months is estimated at a staggering £16.9Bn toll on UK and Irish businesses, with SMEs alone facing estimated costs of up to £5.8Bn. However, the same survey found that whilst nearly 45% of employers were concerned staff will leave, only a quarter say that talent retention is a priority this year. Now is the time to prioritise your people and create a diverse talent pool that supports your succession strategy and enables your business to grow.

The Inspire Way

Our high potential talent assessment and development solutions help you identify and support staff with high potential. Creating and retaining a pool of diverse talent ready to step up and fill senior management positions.

Our business psychologists specialise in creating or adapting bespoke competency models to be used across the selection and development life-cycle.

At Inspire, we draw on our extensive research to truly understand the drivers in our underlying personality and the potential for people to perform in different competencies and improve performance.

Our innovative, customised psychometric profiles bring the selection and development solutions we use to life, and can be adapted to build on your own frameworks, if required.

The expert approach we take also includes validating roles through benchmarking individuals against key competencies required, and analysing job descriptions to ensure they align with the competencies required for each role.

Identifying which personality traits drive performance across different competencies is key to successful recruitment and retention of high potential staff.

Development Centres
Our development centres offer immersive one-day ‘real-life’ experiences for your next generation of leaders.

Our business psychologists work with you to define the approach, agree what is going to be measured and to design a Development Centre that engages participants and provides complete clarity on a high potential candidate’s strengths and development needs.

Participants are also provided with comprehensive feedback via a psychometrically based digital report, which includes detailed observations from the centre. Follow up 1:1 coaching is provided to ensure individuals can put together a clear development plan and identify the steps to take it forward.

Employee Engagement
Statistics show that engagement matters. Engaged companies grow profits as much as 300 percent faster than their competitors. In fact, highly engaged employees are 87% less likely to leave an organisation. Many organisations are aware of this and conduct engagement surveys, often followed by a succession of top down initiatives, which often miss the mark, or simply never follow up and staff become disillusioned and leave.

We offer engagement survey design and analysis to help you benchmark current levels of engagement. This can take the form of an annual survey or one combined with more regular pulse surveys to gather informal feedback all year round. Bespoke survey design ensures we capture the issues that matter to you as well as the elements which psychology has shown are key to engagement.

We can advise you on how best to communicate the results back to staff them and design solutions that address any issues or if you have conducted your own, we can help you put solutions in place.

Recruitment and Assessment

We can help you design processes to recruit the right people to fit roles all the way from graduate to senior level. Our business psychologists can review your existing recruitment strategies, focusing on job analysis for each role, ensuring that you have the right recruitment process to reduce bias and maximise the chance of finding people who are the right fit and who stay with your organisation in the long term. Using our innovative psychometric to support this process will make your recruitment process more scientific, reducing bias and increasing diversity and inclusion.
